Investigator Nicholas Smith joined Pyr-Tech in June of 2017, bringing with him over 10 years of experience in the field of fire and explosion investigations. Nick is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology.

Nick is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) through the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI); and a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, and a Certified Fire Investigator Instructor through the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). Investigator Smith is licensed to conduct investigations in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Indiana.
